Every time you go to a store or gas station, what you buy, when you buy and where you bought it is recorded in a database. It's done when you swipe your store card for savings or your credit card anywhere.
When you use the internet for a search for an object, then after all you will see are adds related to that object.
Right now data banks are the only banks paying real interest to you.
